Maybe I'm biased, but I think our Lotus Cortina has an awesome sound, especially on over-run. It was also faster than a couple 240Zs to boot! :nice:
This is just with the standard GoPro mic on the camera, but do you guys think some sort of external mic near the driver's window would help? The car has a side-exit exhaust in front of the left rear wheel.

I am in full armchair qb mode: is there a lot of play in your steering wheel? At some points it looks like you have a lot of steering input, but the car is not reacting to the degree that it looks like it should... or maybe your drifting a bit?

I don't mind at all!

To answer your question, there are a few things going on there: First, the car has a steering box which does allow a bit more "slop" than a rack and pinion would. Second, the wheel is a bit crooked which can make things look odd, especially in right-hand turns. Third, we use vintage-spec tires which are designed not to be very grippy, so a bigger car like the Cortina will push a bit. As far as drifting a bit...you tell me
