To be honest I have been on this boat for a long time. However, after doing the 2 day M School and flogging the e90/e92 M3 on track, it's hard for me to make a case against it. I have no intention of getting rid of my e30, love rowing gears, love the heel-toe and controlled slides, but the e92 is fucking fast around a track and absurdly easy to drive. With the M dynamic mode on you get 15* of slip angle, it isn't intrusive like most traction control systems, and as long as you don't go into a corner without braking the car will get you around it, and damn quickly too.

It was actually frustrating because there were people in our group that weren't good drivers (and in exercises with no electronic assistance it was pronounced) but could hang with everyone else in full lap exercises because of how good the systems are. In terms of fun to drive... well, that might be up for debate. It's driver interaction vs. speed.
