well, i had both lawyers take a look at the police report....and they helped me figure everything out. My mom new an attourney and she accompanied me to the Court. Turns out the prosecuter will be willing to work with the "unsafe Driving" and take that off put is going to push forward with the illegal lane change.

I was like, "no deal, i didnt do any of it"

He goes on by saying "well, thats fine...but we do have a problem, the witness could not show up so we are pushing for a continuance (spelling?) and my attourney, my girlfreind and I said "HELLL NO!"

And i walked away with out having to pay a fuckin DIME!

You guys were right (some) that lil bitch didnt even show up!

FWIW, just because you got off this time, don't act dumb. You were lucky the other party didn't show, but use this as a learned lesson, otherwise you now know you could find youself in this same situation again. If you want to play all big & bad, fine - you'll more than likely find this happening to you again, and I can even see the post "Why do I keep getting harassed by cops?".
Or you can chalk this up to a good lesson, and realize cops are willing to do whatever floats their boat, and leave it up to the courts to decide if it sticks or not.
At the very least, the cost of a lawyer alone should keep you from some of these questionable moves in the future.

You can call me a dick all you want, but your "big & bad" attitude after getting really lucky in court is an annoying sign that you didn't learn anything from this whole situation. I'm not a legal expert, but the outcome may not have been the same if the OP had shown up for court.

the outcome wouldn't have been the same if the prosecutor had decided to push the issue. The fine probably wasn't worth his office's or the court's time, less to do with witnesses not showing up. The OP's own statements incriminated him. I'm skeptical we've got the true story...scans of the ticket and dismissal or ban :D

Yeah, I agree with everything you wrote.

unless those lawyers did that work for free I can't imagine it was much cheaper than the fines. when you're back in front of the ADA in six months, he's not going to be so easy on you...and neither will the judge.

Hopefully you learned a lesson, H&Re30, but the sad fact is that the ADA figures he'll get you next time...and statistically he's right...

and yes, i had hookups and i got the attourney for free, and she said shes willing to help out anytime.

Right after i got these tickets i was a much more safer driver...and no shit i cought a lucky break, anybody that goes to court on traffic violations usually do. So dont just start jumping to conclusions saying that i didnt learn a damn thng and that im acting all "big and bad" How? becuase i said that i got out of this supid ass situation (which was luck, i know this) My bad that i was just a little excited becuase i left with nothing on my record, and money in my wallet.

My "big & bad" was in refrence to calling the gal a "bitch" and whatever else you were saying at the top of the page. If you learned something, great. If not, Smooth's prediction will come true.

Back and forth changing lanes, you shoot in front of someone and they flash the lights at you. You brake check them (giggles) and then shoot of with your big "six cylinder"!
All it came down to was the other party didn't show up. The first question of any witness is always, "Did you witness the....whatever?" There was no one there to answer, "Yes". I have an attorney friend who always contests the ticket in an auto accident if the other party is from out of town. Odds are they and/or the witnesses won't show and he asks that question of the officer and moves for dismissal.
Were you driving like a dick or did the "bitch" just have it in for a total stranger?
