I may buy the car to get it back to snuff, the kid lives 30 mins from me.... I also have a dubber friend who is looking for an e30. rocker shouldn't be a problem. Oh and our stock rockers suck with high duration cams btw, you need xrayed or billet rockers if you plan to get on it regularly or track it.

You know it's funny you should say that. My friend jason runs a 383 and went through three rockers until he decided to switch to the billets. He is a master mechanic and built race motors for years. He races/ instructs in an 88 e30, and races an e28 as well, he also builds both. So when I build my motor, I think I will listen to his YEARS of experience and what I have seen when he takes his motor apart. You may have a different opinion, but unless you have his experience, I would rather listen to his advice thanks.Yours truly,
Rich

I *almost* made the 6 hour drive to Atlanta and bought this car a few weekends ago to fix the problems and resell it, but this car just has too much drama attached to it now-and I just don't want to be a part of it.
I talked to the mechanics at the shop where it sits, and according to them it will keep breaking the rocker arms because they are not strong enough-their opinion of course. I asked them what would be stronger than the Korman competition rocker arms and they did not have an answer for that.
Anyway-it's a damn shame. Now my bud RCWells has his up forsale again-just think if some other little punk bought it and did the same thing?
