Sick, I'll post up pics, mine is nowhere as detailed as you guys. I just have it painted black with some black SSR look a likes and a nice speed controller/motor setup.

Glad you like the finished product...I'm too much of a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles to drive it around with that shell though!

Doing it was pretty time consuming...but we used a vinyl plotter. Basically a machine used for cutting out adhesive vinyl shapes. We had to make all the graphics on the computer, and then we reversed them all so that they could be stuck on the inside of the shell. I then painted inside the shell, and over the graphics. Putting everything on the inside makes it look like it's been nicely gel coated!

hacker brushless motors are good, so are their controllers, for batteries, go with Thunder Power batteries, make sure you charge them with a lipo charger though

Nice cars guys. I'm more of a gas guy myself, but electric sure is less hassle. Back when I was 12-13 I had an Oreca Viper HPI nitro... forget the model, but I spent hundreds, if not thousands on the damn thing. It was scary fast, probably had a higher top end then my eta hahaha. I traded it for a fully built HPI stampede which I had a bad habit of launching over 50 feet in the air at local contrsuction sites. I sold it for less then $100 I think.

I've been out of the R/C loop for nearly 10 years though, so I guess electric cars are pretty quick now? I wouldn't mind having one again...

its close to done, need to "build" the shocks still, get a motor, radio, battery. i seriously screwed up the paint on it, oh well. im not gonna pay $100 (saw a car body with all the accessories for that on amazon) just for a new body, id just buy a whole new kit for that.
