Another thing to consider is DDT. Remember how terrible it was? Everyone got scared into that whole deal, saying that it would cause cancer etc., and it was taken as FACT. Oddly enough, just recently, the ban was lifted, after millions have died of malaria in Africa.

            Something to consider.....

Also, professors have been known to eat spoonfulls of the stuff with no negative effects whatsoever.

FJ the big reason behind the banning of DDT was the birds (it woulds weaken the egg shells). They would pick it up in their food from the run off. Lots of countries around the world never stopped using it.

On topic: GW is a bull shit deal this ball of dirt goes through cycles that we have never thought of. The fucking sun controls our temp an it goes through hotter an cooler periods. The ocean currents have more to do with how heat moves around the earth than the wind. The oceans can absorb massive amounts of CO2. How about deforstation of the worlds rain forest not as much CO2 used due to less trees. We as humans MAY have had some impact to the weather but not as much as Al an his Green spouting cronies would lead us to think. I am sorry if this has been covered I didnt read through the whole thread.

This thread is bullshit, and so is everyone that advocates GW that doesnt drive a goddamn' prius. If you really cared and supported the theories you wouldnt be driving a 20 year old BMW that pollutes like all hell even when you do pass emissions.

Is it better to let millions of poor people in Africa die to save a few birds by not potentially thinning their shell? It wasnt even that, they could have still used it in Africa, but the US wasnt willing to admit that it did have a use, because that would be ENVIRONMENTAL GENOCIDE!!@!@@! according to the Rachel Carson followers.

One of my favorite cartoons was in the New Yorker years ago. One dinosauer says to the other, "There's something about this sudden cold snap that depresses me."
With the increased demand from developing third world countries, we'll soon run out of oil.
The ultimate global warming - "nookular" war. No, wait! That's "limited" nuclear war. Have Henry Kissinger explain it to you if you can stay awake that long! And you thought Al Gore was boring?

                            ok...

                            lets clear this up.

*FUCK* Al Gore, one of the most two-faced lying sacks of shit that the world has ever seen. Thinking he is the man buying carbon offsets from his own company. Somebody look up his own energy use and compare to yours. Interesting stuff.

SCIENCE IS FACTS, NOT "consensus" There are ZERO facts to show the story either way.

I don't believe for global warming or against it...yet.

Untainted facts is what I need. With my own eyes.

                              Until then, eh.

You know what I'd like to do? When this supposed "warming" ends, and plunges towards a cold spell. Then I can look at all the "warming" people, and say, "No rubbish, eh?"

(I would use the expletive form of rubbish, but...)
