The small village faked the murder/dispearing of the young girl in order for a police officer to volunteerly come to them and investigate. They could not force him to reach the area where he would be sacrificed, which is why there was a trail of clues and intrigues that lead to where he would be killed to honour the Gods.

If you guys thought that "Wickerman" was a bad Nicolas Cage movie, then you haven't seen "Ghost Rider" and Cage's toupé (wig). That was his worst flick, at least to my eyes.

i think this was the best line in your review

"Also if you are offended by the word fuck, you better fuck off."
For that reason anyone who saw that movie, including the original poster, can shut the fuck up. His name is on the fucking billing. You went in there KNOWING FULL FUCKING WELL that this movie was going to suck for that fact alone. So shut the fuck up.

If people like you wouldnt keep going to see his movies we wouldnt have to see his ugly mug on TV, but you go anyway dont do ya? So its your fucking fault.

Nicholas Cage needs to stay away from 70's cult films. First he fucks up Gone in Sixty Seconds, and now Wicker Man.

Nicholas Cage should pretty much stay away from movies period, I swear, I think I've only seen him in one film that was good, and that was a Scorcese flick. Bringing out the Dead was great, even if it was basically a remake of Taxi Driver with ambulances.

Leaving Las Vegas is probably the best movie Cage has ever done, in my opinion. I fucking LOVE that movie.

I don't know why, but I remember more Elizabeth Shue than Nicky in the "Leaving Las Vegas" masterpiece.

So hot, SO FUCKING HOT. I've always had the HUGEST crush on Elizabeth Shue. Adventures in Babysitting FTW.

And her telling him he could fuck her in the ass, and all the rest of the dirty shit that came out of her gorgeous mouth made her even hotter.

                      FUCK ALL OF YOU!

At least you fuckers didn't have to sit through watching "Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton. Which is EXACTLY why you should never get married and if you do never promise to do ANYTHING.

Edit: I liked Lord of War. Ghost Rider sucked IMO. Too many one liners mostly special effects.

Actually, "Lord of War" was a good movie with a great story line.

Wickerman wasn't that bad... sure a lot of things didnt make sense, but it's a movie about a cult? are things supposed to make sense? those people are messed up! I still don't get the connection with the car accident in the beginning, or I just forgot.

You, Me, and Dupree was actually pretty funny (stupid humor)

I'll prolly have to see that one sometime too =/
...and Lord of War was a pretty good movie. Cage is a pretty good actor, his choice of films just aren't always the best.... but there are a lot worse out there.

Wasn't there an alternate ending to the wickerman in the DVD version?? What was it?

I couldn't stop laughing during the wickerman (about 3/4 the way through it, i finally woke up from that deep sleep of boringness). it was just so dumb, so fucking dumb, dumb dumb fucking dumb! almost the worst movie ever. The worst movie ever was the hills have eyes. I can't believe they made a sequel. can't believe it.

You kidding? I loved Alexandre Aja's remake of that flick last year, it was actually better than Craven's original from the 70's. Aja is a sick fuck. I'm not so sure the sequel is gonna be that great, Craven is actually doing that one, it looks a lot hoakier than sick.

yeah, I can't say I enjoyed the movie cause of how sick it was, but it was a good movie just for the cheer "I feel sick to my stomach, I think I'm gonna throw up" factor. What more can u expect out of a horror/thriller movie?
