for sure. this topic fascinates me. I watched a video that disproved our current theory of our "solid earth". something about how we measure the earth's dimensions, weight and density. We base our estimates on the force of gravity, and in order to do this, we must assume that the gravitational force remains constant, but most likely this is not the case. in fact, the hollow earth theory makes more sense in many cases. i'll def. get back to you guys about this, i've been researching this topic for a few months now.
I challenge you to find...

funny how we all accept the fact that the earth is spherical, has a crust, mantle, core, etc., but short of saying 'because someone told me' we have no proof to argue for the accepted theory.
Records of shocks from earthquakes, plate tectonics, fundamental concepts of gravity have proven the earth is solid.
In most physics beyond the basics, gravity is not assumed to be constant.San Diego BMW repair -> Jake @ www.littlecarshop.com Great guy :up:Comment

wtf is all this wacko hollow earth BS.

here is a shot of the north pole.
plus people have done explorations on ice breaking ships up there. this is so silly.Comment

scientists have been up there in US nuclear powered submarines and have used devices to measure the depth of the arctic and the surface features and such. look for the "Gakkel Ridge" on a google search.
plus explorers have marched right up there first on dog sleds, then on US nuclear powered ice breaking ships and have been right on top of the pole.
whether you need a pic of it from space to prove that there isn't a hole is pointless.Comment

I tend to forget that my views are always different because I personally believe that our government is run by a bunch of assholes with hidden motives *cough* 911 and the patriot act and its revisions *cough*. so it's a little easier for me to believe in something like this, although i'm not saying that i do believe in it. It's fun to play around with the idea though.Comment

Not saying I believe any of these other theories but it does make you think, what proof is there that any of this stuff exists? Just because we have a video of people on the moon doesn't mean it happened, it could have been faked. Now of course I don't believe that but I don't like to blindly follow anything in my life, ask me how I am not religious lol.Rollin' with a GeistkuchenComment

Yeah I don't believe theres going to be a giant hole on the top of the earth, I mean... someone would have seen it lol.
But things like, maybe below the mantel its empty? How are we to know? No on has been under the mantel or anything, maybe its empty with gravity pushing the other way, and a chipmunk in a wheel making gravity happen for all I know.Rollin' with a GeistkuchenComment
