I vaguely remember an anthropology class many moons ago in college, where the native central americans had an odd creation myth. There's was no garden of eden, it was a vast hole in the earth with a mother turtle, or something like that. Dunno, been too many years. Got an A in the class though, so I must have paid attention at some point.
