all those who are saying that its no big deal or its not that serious are saying so because they are members of the dominant group. you can not be discriminated aginst if you are in the DOMINANT group therefore, you can not attempt to sympathize. unless you are directly affiliated with the group in question then your opinion means squat

Institutional raciscm prevalent in today's society? Is that sort of like how there's black colleges, but if there were white colleges, that would be racist? Or how there's black entertainment television, but if there was white entertainment television, that would be racist? Or how there can be a "million man march", but if it was a march of a million white men, that would be racist?

Do yourself a favor and look outside the definitions of racism that you've come to accept and lean on. You'll quickly discover how racist the people who claim to be affected by racism are.

there would be no need to have a million white man march what would you march for? there is no need to label a college a "white" college look up the statistics.... UCLA, Ohio state, University of Florida, Georgetown the whole damnned IVY league. get the statistics of who is going to these colleges. and then tell me there are no "white" colleges.

the racism that ive come to accept and lean on is the same racism that is being pumped into our daily routines by the media.
The word black has been paired with a negative connotation: black mail black listed, black balled, black plague...etc
On the other hand, the word white has been paired with everything positive: white christmas, pure white ...etc

as a result of this allthings black or dark in color have been affected and are also ssen in a negative light....

just because you dont acknowledge something doesnt mean that it isnt there
