The horse shit is in my shoe's too... She didn't have to pay for the horses, and they allready payed us for the car ($4000 plus the hospital bill) Also pulled the car out of the field with a tractor, then my dad drove it home. That was a site to see going down the road!

Damn, you live in the middle of no where huh? :)

I am glad she is ok, the car is completely fucked! It could have been much worse for her.

Yes i live in the middle of nowhere :D , and the cop who filed the accident report had to follow my mom from the hospital down here so he could not get lost (and he was a state trooper! ) The owners of the horse's is good neighbors of our's and they are self insured, thats how we got the money so quick.

God damn that car is crunched.

No offense, but how fast was your sister going? I know that horses are big, but it looks like she was going pretty damn fast. And judging from the fact that she ended up out in a field, it doesn't look like she slowed down at all... Or had time to.

Well she really doesn't have to be going that fast. She could be going 30mph hit a horse and have it land on the roof. Take a tall person, make him lock his knees and push him over, thats probably why it looks like it hit and went up.

The field on the other hand..they are in the middle of no where, might be a road there. You just can't see it because your not a native of the land :)

She was going about 50-55mph (speed limit is 50 on a unmarked PA road). She had no time to slow down cause when she came over the hump in the road there they was. And after she hit the first one she went to hit the brakes and keep hitting the clutch.

Edit: normal speed on this road is 60-70mph.

I'm standing about 10' away from the road in this picture. The lane that i'm in, she cleared that and you can see where the car hit in the field (about a 15' drop of of that bank). And she hit the horses about 45'-50' to the left of this picture and there is a drop off on the side of the road where the car went and bounced off of the ground and it looks like it didn't even touch that lane i'm standing in.
