To begin with the reason we went into Iraq was because Saddam was in violation of 18(i think) different resolutions about WMD. All the intelligence we had on this said he had them. Don't forget that the reason UBL hates us so damn much is that fact that we were supporting him fight the Russians in the 80's in Afghanistan and when " Clinton " got into office he cut all covert ties to supplying and training UBL and his men, resulting in what has become a very angry hatred towards America. Now imagine what will happen if we were to do this again but now with Iraq. The democrats are weak and always cut and run when in these situations and because of this is why we as a nation are in need to fight this hatred anywhere in the world we have to to keep them off of our own soil.

So we completely disregarded the UN and went to war anyhow only to discover that there were no WMD's. And when Saddam was put on trial not a single one of those charges came up. He was tried and convicted for other things but none of it had to do with the WMD's

We were not the only ones who knew of the violations since it take a majority vote in the UN security council to bring down the resolutions. The security council is made up of all major countries in the world. The council had been voting on sanctions against him since 1990 when he invaded Kuwait and at that time he was developing nuclear weapons and had stock piles of chemicals weapons that he used on his own people. The last resolution stated that he turn over all information regarding WMD and the locations of such technology or face removal of power. He was warned and we did everything by the book. Saddam was put on trial by his own people for the mass killings of his own people and it had nothing to do with WMD but the hundreds of thousand he killed and put in mass graves since the early to mid 1980's.


So if you are going to speak on this subject you need to at least get all the facts on the subject before doing so. Or just keep repeating what the far left liberals want people to believe so they can get voted into office. Just like the promise to lower gas prices when they were voted in November and right now they are higher than ever before. The liberals say what is needed to gain office positions but with no action as always.

I agree. I know very little about how the conservative democrats librate the media through government sanctions that cause the gas prices to go up. But I will still vote for whichever candidate tells the best lie regardless of their political party. All in all, gas prices really have nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with money and demand. As long as the demand is high and people have the money to pay, the prices will keep getting higher.

You are right that gas prices have nothing to do with politics and they can not control them at all. It is simply a supply and demand comodity period. It is no different than say when the new PS3 came out and what people would pay for them on EBAY since they didnt wait for 5 days outside a store to buy the first. My point about the gas prices was simply that the DEMOCRATS promise voters that they will change the color of the sky but when it come down to it they can not do shit about it. They do this to get the votes since it is a sore subject amoung most people in the country.
