here is a quick one of my baby. (actually had to open the safe for the 1st time since I have been home). been meaning to get out and get some better shots of it. Just have not had time.

LMT MWS (.308 ) SS barrel, with a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x50 and .308 BDC reticule sitting in A.R.M.S. rings and throw levers. I have not been able to shoot it much, (always working out of state) have had it out to about 350ish and it way out shoots me!!!!!! I am so out of practice its not even funny.

I have a Geissele 2 stage trigger sitting around here somewhere in all the boxes of shit we have, (moved too many times in recent years) I need to put in it as well.

On that note, anybody have good tips for a decent (under $100) light for my new XDM (3.8" barrel, 9mm)?

Immature name-calling aside, Id buy a good flash light, then use an inexpensive adapter to mount it...you can then use it double duty.

That barrel doesnt look stainless...is it blued or coated?

How many inch barrel is that?

Standard is the Chrome Lined but when I got it, my guy had new SS barrel on the shelf so I upgraded.


16" It converts to any length you have laying around for it in about a min flat if you want something else.

Basically its the semi Auto version of what the Brits have been equipping some members of the SAS with, minus the kit the Birts speced for their orders.

Nice. Rig. Looks like a POF with a loopy mk4 2.5-8x36 on it. I know I have seen that mount and rings somewhere just can't place them

Edit: glass looks like it might be a viper pst or even a older us optic as well. I am going on pure memory here though

I think that nickel boron coated beast is a Mega MaTen monolithic unitl. If so, hot damn. I thought about using one of their matched billet sets as a base for a 308 build. Ask your buddy how that thing has been for him. I've wanted to get into a big bore battle rifle and its between a DSA paratrooper FAL, M1A Scout, or build my own AR.

I'm all about questions.

How would you guys go about talking about carrying on the job? I feel like if I were to ask then I might scare my female boss and she may think differently of me. But yesterday she was talking about how we only have 1 exit, the front door, and that that's kinda freaky

How would I find out if my company allows carrying or doesn't allow it? Do you guys just carry and if you ever have to use it to defend yourself/people that you hope that covers your job?

I feel like I'd rather lose my job than my life. I know people leave there carry gun in a bag while at work but what good is it in my bag if I am in the copy room? Or if someone finds it/ steals it

There are probably already written rules about that sort of thing for the company. If not, there should be. Most workplaces don't allow you to carry. Talk to your HR person.
