Hey now, there is a wealth of information and solid advice itt, dont let the antics of the new guy trying to flex his firearm knowledge and trying to show the rest of us how much he knows, while getting into pissing matches in the process scare ya off.

This is a good place for info and good advice, as most of us that regularly post in this threat are laid back and understand there are differences in methodology, based on a whole host of things, after all firearms in general are SRS Bidness, but lots of fun along the way.

On that note, anybody have good tips for a decent (under $100) light for my new XDM (3.8" barrel, 9mm)?

Dont have one on any of my handguns yet, so it's totally new. My SR9C has an attachment for one too, but ill probably keep it on the XDM.

Ive never actually had to add someone to the ignore list before on any forum but i learned how to a moment ago.

As for a light, the streamlight TLR series can be had for a reasonable price. Ive heard that the only light that should ever be on a serious gun is surefire but i like my TLR1.

Streamlight seems jsut as popular to me, at least from what ive seen on the web. A lot of guys say either one is the way to go.

How do you do that? I tried finding the ignore feature but couldnt

You have to go to their user profile. Then at the top it will have a "user lists" drop down. Ignore to your hearts content.

i have a tlr-1 that i am really happy with, and i got it for less than $100. Just wait for the deals.

Me and my pops have been talking about building a couple AR's. He's leaning towards going in the direction of a .300 whisper for himself (he already owns a .223). Anybody have any experience with it? I'm still on the fence myself

If your going to stay on the standard reviver pattern 6.8spc or 6.5 Grendal is where I would be looking. unless he really wants a 30cal Assulat class round and the full battle class 308 is going to be more than what he wants. I am really really on the fence on picking up a 6.8 LMT. My guy has one of the last ones, and anything LMT for the next 6 months.


Its either that or a new Mossy 930 8 shot and S&W .460mag 5" Either way I am buying some more guns here soon.

I've got an LMT AR in 5.56, love that gun. Finished the build not too long ago. Top notch stuff!

here is a quick one of my baby. (actually had to open the safe for the 1st time since I have been home). been meaning to get out and get some better shots of it. Just have not had time.

LMT MWS (.308 ) SS barrel, with a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x50 and .308 BDC reticule sitting in A.R.M.S. rings and throw levers. I have not been able to shoot it much, (always working out of state) have had it out to about 350ish and it way out shoots me!!!!!! I am so out of practice its not even funny.

I have a Geissele 2 stage trigger sitting around here somewhere in all the boxes of shit we have, (moved too many times in recent years) I need to put in it as well.
