Any one here have a Ruger 10/22? I am loving this thing right now. So far its stock other than a cheap 9x32 centerpoint scope and a vinyl wrap on the factory wood carbine stock. The length of pull is a little short for me. I believe I am getting a tactical solutions Xring bull barrel and hogue overmoulded stock with a bi pod.

I have never shot a rifle with these mods but people on youtube seem to like em. I was wondering what mods any of you may have for your 10/22s.

I am tryn to find pre-1999 30rd AR mags to use on my CA featureless... It's a pain in the ass, can't even find 4 mags... But it's the only way to rock 30rd in CA.

I dont see the point in buying pistol mags in bulk. Pistols are side arms...Ill use a side arm in 3 ways...a carry weapon, a back up weapon, or a first responder to get me to my "real" weapons. I dont believe I have more than 3 magazines for any pistol I own.

I have 20 AR-15 magazines, 15 AR-10s, and 8+1+6(caddy)+15 (sling) in 12ga. I also rotate my stock, always keeping all my mags full plus 1000 rounds of each on the shelf.

That is not the norm, but if you want to drop $300-$400 on ammo costs for every range visit, Im guessing you dont go that often.

I have my own range and prefer to shoot less ammo, but more often.

The WASR is on the lower end of the AK chain. Arsenal is about as good as they come. If you want the safe queen look for a Polytech. I have a polish underfolder and could not be more happier with it. But nothing wrong with the WASR, just dont expect to be shooting golf balls at 100 yards with it.

Im guessing you dont go that often.

I go about 2 times a month. I have been saving ammo for over 15 years. Im still shooting IMI 855 that I got for $200 per 1k. And wolf ammo I got for $99 shipped for 1k.

Also I have been reloading for about 4 years.


Im a bit older than 18 and can afford the cost. Its hard to feed an M-16 with only $50.

Dub have you seen any 6.8 in mass anywhere for less than 2 bucks a round. I am prolly going to go get the 6.8 anyway in light of recent events. to go with my other new toy I get to go get tomarrow.

I figure this spring I'm going to be more active with the three gun shoots my dad helps organize. So I'm thinking a nice red dot is going to be the ticket.

Eotech XPS 2-0 but that will prolly put up into the unlimited class. Or a Nice Aimpoint Comp 3

Yeah I know on the 6.8, Nice thing about LMT is I can drop 556 parts in very easily. (though you know I am not a fan of .556)

Its not as bad as one would think, about 68 cents a round for .308 (cheap magtech 147gr that my rifle seems to like and holds just about MOA with) , and 75 cents for some LC M80 ball in NATO. This last week plus Xmass is killing my bank accounts, not to mention my new toy and 500+ rounds for that thing. Gives me lots of brass for reloading when can get back into that.
