IIRC the p22 isn't actually a Walther made , it's just got their branding on it. A licensed copy if you will. Do a search for Walther p22 slide cracking. I dunno if it's still am issue.

I got my tax return yesterday so I decided to head down to my local gun shop to see if i could snag a deal on a new gun, particularly the Beretta 92A1.
Retail is 725, they have it listed at 689.99 plus tax. After some haggling and him bringing the manager out I scored it for 675.00 otd (or 630.84 plus tax).
I think I faired OK, considering prices these days

Speaking of ammo. While there, several peope came looking for range ammo on 9mm. All the salespeople told the customers they were out, all they had was JHP. Finishing my sale, I addressed my concern with a gun and no bullets. He said they have some stashed in the back only for customers buying guns. Those were not for sale for to anyone else...

Just got my 1911 put back together. I had to clean a very small amount of powder coat off of the slide so that it would slide ll the way back, but besides that the powder is perfect. There really was no way Dave at RF could have masked that off. I am super happy with it.

Got to shoot my XDm on Monday. I was really pleased with it. I shot my friend's Gen 4 Glock 17 that day too, which was the other gun I was looking at while shopping. I'm happy I bought the XDm.
