I just finished my SBR tonight and spent tonight rearranging my safe. I think I have finally outgrown my safe. Its a pretty mixed feeling. Its bad ass that I filled this one up, sad that I got to spend some good coin on either getting a bigger safe or getting another one.

Oh yeah of course, I stumbled into 200 rounds of FGGM 190Gr for my TRG late last winter than worked out too 26 bucks a box FOR WIN MAG. You could not find 308 for less than 45 a box at the time....

Going to run some "cheap" core-loc though it to zero out and then let it cool off and then see what I can do with about 10 rounds of the GMM :) dont expect great things I am VERY VERY VERY outta practice...... And the guy who had it before I got it said it really loves 208 Amax's so we shall see....

Comes complete. On Pmags all the do is pop the plate off while it is still in the bag, don't even tear it open. I have had a few shipped to my door as "rebuild kits".

I find that very sketchy. When the AWB was in affect, rebuild kits were everything but the base plate. Mags were then labeled with a date or "for police use only"

Is there an option in your state to own say preban 30 round mags? If that is the case there is no way to enforce the current law as new mags are not labeled as such.

That seems super sketchy. The G26 doesn't have that long of a trigger pull to carry it without a holster IMO.

DW, have you ever completed your rifle, and if so when are we painting it? I got my airbrush out the other day and gave it a once over. Im ready when you are.

I finished one a while ago and decided against building a second during the craziness. Maybe I will reconsider as prices come down.

Prices are on the way down but its still hard to find some things. Like Gary said Ammo on the other hand is fucking retarded. Thank you GOV for trying to buy it all up so us Civs cant acquire it.

On a side note, you know anyone in that runs a cnc locally? I would love to build a 80% lower or two. The old build parties were always fun during the AK parts run. But those days have all dried up. :(

the 10/22 is about the best one out there for a budget 22. If you are looking for a bolt gun check out the Kimber Model 82 .22 LR from CMP. The ones they have say rusty but reports on these have been stellar. A bit of surface rust. Nothing a bit of CLP cant clean up. People are reporting after clean up 5 shot groups at 100 yards less than 1/2" for a trained shooter.

Do you know how to program in G code? The reason I ask is because I don't know if its legal to have someone else do it for you. From my understanding the 80% lower is only legal if you perform the work yourself, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I know you can buy the jigs and milling bits and use a standard drill press for the job. Its not ideal, but it gets the job done and most people can do it themselves.

The file is all over the net. I know there are build parties all over the place. That is why these 80% lowers are popping up everywhere. My understanding is if you hit the button to run the CNC you are the one building the lower.


Edit: Quick search shows Cncguns.com has the cad file online. Still looking for the G Code file.
