I have an Otis "pro pistol cleaning system" and like it. I kept losing all my separate rod attachments from my hoppes kits so I just went with this one. Its probably overkill for a lone .45 though.

As for cleaning and lubrication, I use Mpro7 cleaning solvent and Militec lube. A lot of the youtube gun nerds have been touting Ballistol as a great cleaning solvent/lubricant but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Got my concealed weapons permit in the mail today and went straight to the gun shop. Walked out with a used Glock 23 .40 with nightsights, 2 10round standard mags and a LE 13 round mag. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend!

its nothing but a Glock 18 with a stock. You can never own one being that Glock 18s are not sold to civilians in the US. That is a Class 3 dealer item, or military weapon only. If you used the semi auto Glock 19 it would still fall under the rules of NFA a being Class 3 item. Short Barreled Rifle.

I guess it has its place, but there are much better options in 9mm.

the prices are in british pounds, you think i'd have any problem importing one of these kits?

yes. Yes you would unless you are a dealer and are trying to get a dealer sample and even then it would be a big pain in the ass and like dub said even in semi they are still a sbr and require the tax stapm and paper work. That and I don't think MD is a NFA friendly state so you will be S.O.L. via state law

They are already here in the states.... one of my dealer friends stocks them. Ive handled it first hand. To me its a waste of money. And again its Class 3, so you are not able to purchase one with out going though the steps and living in a state that allows Class 3 weapons.

Thinking of picking up a 9 as its much cheaper then buying 45 for my USP all the time.

Thinking 92FS, CZ75b, or a P226.
