Having no stock does not automatically make it a pistol. In fact, all AR stocks are removable. It has to do with barrel length, and over-all length. It definitely looks like an SBR tho.

Im glad you cant resist arguing for one fucking post you argumentative twat. Seriously fuck off troll. Im well aware that not having a stock doesnt mean that it is a pistol. The most likely scenario is however is that it is currently a pistol. Could he have just built it and is waiting on his tax stamp? Its not an sbr yet. Could he have taken the stock off for the picture? Yes. Would he? Well i dont know why someone would pay an extra $200 to put a stock on his pistol, to then not do it. It doesnt even have a receiver extension with provisions for a stock. Again fuck off.
