^ I'm not going to talk you out of it, but if you want a bad ass bolt gun there are better options. The money it takes to turn a Mosin into that is kind of a waste IMO, you still have a shitty trigger, rough action and a mil surp barrel and surplus ammo is cheap(ish) but not an accurate load. Point being, if you want to blast a bunch of cheap ammo, get a cheap Mosin and shoot it for what it is. At the end of the day, it's your money/time/taste so take what anyone says with a grain of salt.

Hey, just some food for thought. But spread out your patterns when doing camouflaging. A pattern like you have now will bleed together creating a solid color.
When camouflaging, think more like a snake and its patterns. It will help you blend in much better.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Looks nice, glad to see I'm not the only OD fan, too bad FDE is a much more logical color for my surroundings. I'll post pics the end of this week of the finished product, it obviously won't be a traditional style camo (patches and splotches) but it should blend in pretty well to the dirt and sage brush we have around here.
