Many 335i owners have complained how remote they feel from the engine. The engine sure is powerfull, but certainly not as "tight" as an S54. Many had deceptions. Certainly not the successor of the e30 M3. Not to be confused.
As a sidenote, the front of the car is so ugly, the headlamps look like the face of someone who just got inserted a butt plug. Oooomph...
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Lee, I'm not sure how you know the expression on someone's face after getting a butt plug rammed up one's ass. But I agree with you. I don't like the styling of the 1er.
The car does not look proportional. Even if the car were slammed to the ground I think it'd still look too high for it's width. I like the E92 M3 and coupes fine.
The interior looks awesome though.

I agrre with the 335 motor statement. I have a friend with one who also ownes a late model e30 cab. He says it is like a video game when he drives the e90, not connected to it at all. Still fun as hell though.Yours truly,
Rich

I can see how you can feel disconnected from a car after driving my girlfriends 2007 GLI a lot, with its variable ratio electronic steering rack or whatever it has. But to be honest, you get used to it quickly and you don't realize it until you get back in your old car.
I like the 1ers a lot, everything but the enormous headlights. If they scaled them down 50% it'd do a lot for the car, but thats my only real gripe with it.Comment

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.
