They actually did quite a bit to "sterilize" the situation. If you went down there today, (with the exception of a couple of landmarks) it looks and feels as if the buildings never existed.

But knowing they were there and there was basically a shipload of people in there is what makes if freaky.

I had not yet seen the video when I replied so I could not comment. Great is my comment.

Now I will comment on the rest. I was born and raised in Manhattan. I had 50+ friends/ family members IN THE buildings plus more than 100 people that I knew through friends/family.

I watched from my home in L.A. starting moments after the first plane hit all day and cried all day. I still cry when I think of this, my friends who are dead, their wives, kids, parents etc.

This is an American tragedy, for the loss of life but it is also a tragedy in that it changed the way we live. That is a victory for the people that did this because the point of terrorism is to cause terror, change the way it's victims live and thus they were victorious because they got us all to change. My worldview changed that day and I cannot undo that.

I get very upset when people spout their conspiracy theories. If the administration had anything to do with this it would have been PROVEN within six months. There is no way I (1) believe they would and (2) no way I think they could have pulled it off to keep it a secret.

All of this terrorism started back in 1992 when Clinton took office and cut of the CIA backed support for UBL in Afghanistan when they were fighting the Russians who invaded them in the late 1980's. We were giving them weapons and intell to fight the russians and when Clinton pulled the plug on the program it pissed UBL off and then turned his sights on the USA !!!! That is where this all started at so why the younger generation was probably just born or just a few years old they will never know the truth as to what the root cause is going on with the current situation we are in. I am not saying that Bush is perfect but respectfully he inherited all of this crap.
