I hit a deer once (in my suburban) so I won't tell that story.
However, I was home visiting family in Missourah and took a joy ride on this state road called "M". It's the shit. Anyways, it's got a bunch of the rolling hills, so I was trucking along at about 80 and came to the top of one (like a freakin' roller coaster, this road is so bitchin'), and this squirrel was sitting in the middle of my lane with his head up like he had heard me coming and was trying to figure out what it was. He even had his head sorta cocked..(wtf is that noise?) Anyways, I went right over him. I didn't feel a thing, but I could swear when I looked in the rear view mirror, all I saw was a squirrel body (sans head) laying limp in the middle of my lane.
RIP.
I'll never forget that drive. or that highway.
p.s. I hit a possum once in an F-350. bumpbump. that is all.
