People underestimate the level of talent in MLS many critics say. Beckham cannot assume that the players in America won't be as good as those in Europe. Sure european leagues develop players through many levels and care about the game more, but it's not like all of our players are bad. (the football critics are warning him in Euro papers).

Beckham was never about scoring goals, assisting sure. He is known for the most accurate crosses in the game, and others scoring off of him. You could have seen this in the last few Real Madrid games as well as in the England game vs. Estonia.

People say he is not a real team player and takes negative attention towards him and his team, but he has improved.

I'm not expecting the interest to develop as much as in England, nor the number of levels of leagues and play, nor fandom (as the NHL never was able to do that in America for Hockey) but it should boost the sport at least here.

Beckham was a sick nasty ass player when he was at Man U. I mean i guess he did alright at Real Madrid, but with all the funs that team had, you would have thought they would have played better. European soccer and American soccer are two completely different games, and I think Beckham is a capable player, but I don't know if he will play well because he will be playing down to the abilities of the other players in the league IMO.
