how many people on here are actual musicians, and can tell 1 reason why the bands they hate, "have no talent".

When I see people post up about Evanescence (i'm not a big fan of them, but I won't say that Amy Lee doesn't have talent - she freaking sang opera before joining the band and has an excellent range.) and NIN, I wonder about some of you. 30STM sucking live? are you serious? Jared Leto is considered one of the greatest performers of our time by EVERY review, and his voice is flawless live. Someone even complained about Tool, wow. i'm not even going to get into how much of a fucktard you are.

I played classical violin for 11 years. I have perfect pitch. None of their singles show her vocal range, and I'm not about to buy their entire catalogue to find out.

Now I am not saying that you necessarily need to showcase your vocal range just for the hell of it. But the tempo is all wrong, and many of the songs sound labored. Whether or not this is for deliberate effect I don't know, but I just don't like them.

i've heard a lot of the unreleased stuff, and it shows off a pretty damn good range.

You have every right to be critical though, since you actually are a musician

Are you fucking kidding me? Have you seen Jared Leto live yourself? Unless he just happened to smoke a bag of meth before I saw them, it was so fucking pathetic it wasn't even funny. He might have sang one verse out of every song they played, and he sung like an asshole. All he did was hype the crowd up a lot. His band is good, and of course the sound was amazing, but holy fuck they sucked. I've seen a LOT of bands live, and they are hands down the worst.

Yeah when bon scott died I think they went down hill. Back in black was kick ass though, only because bon wrote most if not all of it IIRC before he died. Brian Johnson did a good job on that record.

Theres a select few songs I like from him, Thunderstruck and For those about to rock, being amoung them.

Anything after the 90's though is just terrible.

you must not have been to a good show or he must have been sick or something. Everything I have ever seen of them live was absolutely amazing. Watch some of the stuff they have on youtube. I haven't been able to see them live myself since I live in NC and they don't really ever come close, but look forward to it on their next tour.

here's a link that shows Jared can fucking sing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ige-04rHYQQ

I used to have a concert venue at a skatepark i managed - they played alot of local shows with me until they got signed. Good group of guys. Mike the singer used to skate with me when i was a kid.

Nickelback fills the void that Creed left for non-offensive arena rock. Not something I'd seek out, but if it's a toss up between 30secondsfromDashboardThursdayAtthedisco, them and "Ella, ellaa, ellla, ellla, eyy, eyy, eyyy, eyyyy", I'll probably leave it on them.
