What do you guys do for extra income?

Sleazy, not to mention illegal. It is also a lot of other things that come under the headings of ethics, morality, etc. The bigger consideration is that puts a lot of unsafe vehicles on the road. Cars that have been "clipped" improperly, etc. If someone is going to cheat on the car, they will also cheat on the repair.

I never said I endorse it, just saying it happens a lot.

You wouldn't believe the number of people that live off of buying newer wrecked cars and fixing them. Buy 1 car wrecked in the front, 1 car wrecked in the back. Combine them, and sell it to make 5x profit. you also wouldn't believe the amount of people buying these cars without checking the history. It's simple enough to get around r-titles by transferring to friends in certain other states then back again.

I actually have a job that pays (relatively) well, so no extra income required. Then again, my job puts me in a different country than my car, so moot point I guess.

i figured someone would call bullshit, so i'll tell you how it works:

i answered an add in the Phx Newtimes (local free paper), looking for males, muscular/attractive 18-33 y/o for work in adult films. so i had always said i wanted to do it, i'm single at the moment, WTF shit or get off the pot time.
i call the number in the add, get a phone interview where they ask me questions about my physical appearence (how is your stomache? flat/six pack?) what size you are, do you have tattoos...how many?, hair color/style, hight/weight, etc. then what kind of work are you will to do/looking for? (gay, straight, group, solo, fetish, etc). if you pass the phone interview (i did) they set up a time for you to come to the studio. this happened to be a really nice gated condo in paradise valley. i show up at the arranged time, get buzzed in and he meets me in the parking lot and takes me up to the "studio" which is a large 2 bedroom condo. there is a bed in the middle of the room surrounded by lights and a camera, and a couch in the corner. he looks at my driver's lic to verify my age, and gives me a concent/release form, a company policy sheet, check list of what i am willing to do and a price list of what each "act" will pay along with an explaination that you are an independent contractor and concidered 1090 by the irs. he then asks me to strip to my boxers so he can take a pic if me front and back and a pic of my face for my file. he then proceeds to tell me that if i can't get it up will not get paid...if i can't finish the job i will not get paid...if i finish up too early, i will not get paid, and most job's will take 1 1/2 -2 hours and never more that 3. he tell me he will contact me in 2-3 weeks for some shoots he has planned.
3 weeks later i get a call to meet a girl for a shoot. what they do is pair you up with a girl you will look good on film with and narrow it down to her choice of 3 guys. she then meets all three of you seperately (like an interview) and chooses who she will fuck for they "shoot" out of the three. i chat her up and we seem to hit it off. i leave the interview and get a call 3 hours later to see if i am interested, tell me when the shoot is, and how much it will pay. i, of course say hell yea! he tells me where to go to get my STD screen done and to bring the results with me. i show up on the arranged day, get a list of what they want me to do and in what order, i do it and collect my check. "are you still interested in doing this again?" "fuck yea, i am!" "ok we'll call you when we have work for you" a month later they called me to meet them at the Phoenician, a guy named shawn will meet you in the main lobby wearing a red polo and take you up to the room, i fuck the girl, collect my check, repeat every 2-3 months.

I've done a few security gigs myself and they have been quite easy. I never had to fight anyone or wrestle them to the ground or play "rent-a-cop" and arrest someone. Trouble usually breaks out in environments that are not being watched or supervised. But as long as everyone knows that someone saw them come into the venue and someone is always paying attention to what is happening, trouble makers are less likely to act up.
