What are you using 4.0 with a digitizer? 17" is weak sauce.

I rock a 22" with a 19" for the tools and I am the ghetto setup. Of course these old farts dont believe in LCDs.

Having a full suite of Autodesk, AGI32, Bentely, and PTC FTW.
          Im now E30less.

I use Archicad 11 (BIM type program), here for architecture & lighting design. The laptop is just for portable presentations, doing my light calcs in AGI (windows xp program) and if I feel like chilling in bed working, or cruising r3v.
I have a G5 (soon to be replaced with a new intel mac) with one 30" display for drawing, and another 23" for my tools, and 3D model window.
Kinda sounds like we are on the same page though for drawing? I need a lot of real-estate for drawing plans. I just wish I had a second 30" screen now.

Well, I am now desktop computer-less, posting this from my new Inspiron 1721. Just got it yesterday, and I have to say that thus far, I am seriously impressed with this machine. Vista is going to take a little getting used to, but that's alright.

I'll get some pictures later, this fucker is a MONSTER. I got the 17" widescreen, so it's a big boy!
