Designed by Paul Smith, these were only available in his stores in the UK, only 100 of each color made. Apparently after they didn't sell, they got sent to some boutique in NYC, that happened to be owned by luxotica. The boutique couldn't sell $325 pink glasses, so they, and another of the paul smith's, got sent to sunglass hut in the commons. Me and a friend went in, instantly spotted them, and bought both for a fraction of msrp. They typically go on ebay for $400+.

typical frogskins are made in quantities of up to 3000 or so. They normally retail for $120 and will sell for ~$200 nib after quantities are depleted. Every so often a designer will make a special edition in much more limited quantities, in this case 100. Also when the frogskins were produced in the 80's they were given an rubber like coating giving them the feel of a frog's skin, now they are just plastic. These are brand new, stamped paul smith jean's limited edition, and are rubberized, they retailed for $325, and they were only available through paul smith's boutiques or online store.

And to contribute to the thread, going camping this weekend, me and a buddy picked up our supplies today.

yeah we grabbed a case for drinking and we have 3 gallons of distilled for cooking. Only issue with all this beer is we have to hike 1/2 mile to the site, obviously plus our regular supplies.

Yeah not the end of the world but it's 96 beers, 9 gallons, plus another 6.5 gallons of water. If it were all water it would weigh 124lbs, that's a pain in the ass to carry on top of our other gear.

Pfft, I went on a backpacking trip back for my mountaineering class back in the day, we were to split gear in groups of four keep the weight down ( no doubles of gear that way ) 4 of the guys in the class had three guys carry all the gear and one guy strapped a keg to an open frame backpack, he hauled that fucker 12 miles from a start of 5000' to finish of over 11k. We all drank beer the whole weekend.
