Ok Blunster - you need to ditch the daytime TV programs as your preferred choice of background noise. Might I suggest a radio tuned in to an easy listening station or classic hits where you can re-live those days of youth with REO Speedwagon or Styx or Jethro Tull or The Moody Blues. Or....kick down and wire the garage with cable so you don't miss any of your Spice TV :-P

you are right. i have the garage wired for cable but have never finished it. i have an amp and cd player with 1 cd out there so i listen to the same cd for 3 years now. i have a tv with rabbit ears so i just turn it on while im wrenching and its either montel or the guiding light or some shit. i need a tuner for my amp and i need to finish the wiring for cable. until then i will listen to montel and judge judy and on the weekends its tony little and the veg o matic

Montel does not have the fist fights yet but he is doing a lot more crying these days. I don't get much time to watch daytime television but in the few times that I have seen his show most recently, he broke down crying to the point where he could barely talk. Every show.. I wonder if he does this on cue or what but it seems like around 40 mintues into the show, he will comment on why he thinks that the guests' situation is bad and then he says, "It's like.. [sobbing]..you are trapped in this world [more severe sobbing] this horrible horrible world and you can't do anything..[sobbing makes his words incomprehendable]..and you can't do anything about it."

Then they cut to one of the guests in the audience. He always has some sort of expert as a panelist sitting on the front row of the audience talking about, "Uh.. yes Montel.. its an awful travesty and our foundation has researched the causes of blah blah blah.."
