According to the Chicago Tribune:
"Miles...has a special clause in his contract requiring a robust $1.25 million buyout"
that is the clause I spoke of, sorry if anybody was confused

There is no financial penalty if Miles leaves for any school except Michigan ($1.25 million).Leave a comment:

Whoa, sorry dude all I know is what I heard on the radio. Apologies for not researching my sources. Overreact much?Leave a comment:

False motherfucker. The ONE and ONLY clause he has in his contract is to go to Michigan. Learn your facts before posting. And better yet, the loser in the radio needs to learn his shit before spewing it onto the airwaves and making his listeners sound like retards.Leave a comment:

It a hilarious time in the Big 12. KU got bumped to #2 while WVU passed MU for 3rd, so now the slavers (what we call people from Mizzou since its a slave state) are all pissed off.
God I hope we beat them and their booger eating QB this weekend, it will be fucking epic.Leave a comment:

Makes sense though since LSU got burned by Nick Saban and when Les Miles took the job everybody knew that he'd be Michigan's first choice if Lloyd Carr ever left. Miles has some connection to Michigan but I'm not sure what it is.Leave a comment:

Les Miles has a no Michigan clause in his contract with LSU, if he leaves to coach at Michigan hee'll have to pay an ungodly sum in the millions back to LSU. The guy on the radio says it won't happenLeave a comment:

Looks like OU is going down, hard. Lost their QB. That means its going to be easier for whomever wins the KU/MU game to take the Big 12 championship (and likely the bid at the BCS championship).Leave a comment:

Who says Les is going to be going to Big Blue? He hasn't said anything about it, but we will see come Monday.Leave a comment:

11-0 nignogs!
Sure it was against an unranked team but given that #2s seem to fall to unranked teams and ours dominated Im feeling good. No unranked teams left, just #3 and #4.Leave a comment:

You're absolutely right. It was Dixon's decision though; the staff tried to talk him out of playing but he insisted. I would rather see him playing in a wheel chair than Leaf on his best day. He's a great QB in our system, but I don't think he has the size to handle the NFL. He will make a full recovery and be fine, but he is certainly damaged goods. I believe he already signed with the Braves though, so he's not too worried about his post collegiate career.ITs stupid and irresponsible of the coaching staff. Now whos going to touch Dennis Dixon in the NFL draft? An already undersized QB, who relied on his athleticism to be the great QB he was. Now you take away that athleticism, and you have byron leftwich without the arm.
I feel bad for the guy, and hope him a full recovery. but at this point, I think the Ducks coaching staff really fucked over his potential career... Just for their shot at a title. You see how far troy smith fell, and he didnt even have any medical problems.
In regards to the coaching staff, I hold them totally responsible as a fan for not thinking about creating a contingency plan for when this happened.
Oregon is as good (or this year potentially better) than any team in the nation; with our starters. Unfortunately our depth chart is tragic, particularly at QB now. Our third string, Costa, is actually very good but blew out his ACL in practice. He would have undoubtedly played against AZ, and is slated to be our started next year. This depth at QB obviously very important for any offense, but especially ours given that we run the spread option exclusively. Leaf is a waste, and tough he is a good guy and a very hardworker, his amazing lack of athleticism and patience in the pocket ruin his potential to help anyone but the opposing team.
If LSU looses, shit will get shaken up even further. It's been a hell of a season.Leave a comment:

Hart was hurt last week. But in the first half he was gimpy. Id imagine it got worse in the 2nd half, but I dont know.
Watching that game reminds me of watching my Eagles in our 3 consecutive NFC championship seasons. The wide recievers suck, and they cant catch shit. You cant rely on a QB and RB all game long.Leave a comment:
