The reality is the ATF doesn't give a shit, it's not a firearm, you can still purchase surplus ( from private parties ) flamethrowers NO PAPERWORK REQUIRED.

I find this hard to believe so I will have to investigate. The ATF is usually really interested in all destructive devices obtained or used illegally. That is if they are illegal to own or use

California is the only state, I believe, to have regulations on flame throwers.

          USA FTW.

I was using diesel fuel to kill the weeds and grass that was growing in between the cracks of a parking lot on a VERY hot day using a big plastic pump container with a sprayer hose. After the fact it dawned on me that I was taking a serious risk. I don't know how much pressure and heat it takes to make diesel fuel ignite but apparently I would have been safer with a match and a bucket of gasoline.

I didnt think diesel fuel was as explosive because it burns slower than gasoline. Basiclly diesel fuel is nothing but a dirtier kerosene fuel which is safe to use for heating. I have always used either kerosene or diesel to start brush fires with, without the expolsive nature like trying to do the same with gasoline. At least I thought it was safer

Ive filled up a super soaker with gas on several occasions.

                Its fun.

                Edit:

Until the super soaker catches on fire lol. They do eventually.

I just find it fucking hilarious there is a forum dedicated to "performance" water guns.

Now I want to have an all out battle with at least 6 of these.

My cousin got a supersoaker and filled it full of gasoline. He didnt realize how dangerous it was until he caught the bushes on fire. Then the tip ignited and it burst into flames. Luckily that dumbass wasnt hurt. Speedy Fire Department response FTW.

And for the Potato guns, The correct noise is FOOOMP!!!!
Ive built too many to count.

In California, we don't brag on forums about these types of things.

I understand wrong kind of brush fire... LOL In burn permit season here we are allowed to do such things, like clearing land, as long as you have a burn permit. Wasn't trying to offend those who have such fire dangers....
