What wrong with TV?

when i move to germany next year, im garage sale'ing everything in my house. the tv's, be gone! when i get back, i'll pick up a nice projector for movies

Man, even the channels I liked watching have gone to shit, like Speedvision and TLC. TLC is nothing but a bunch of fucking shows about engagement and midgets. Discovery (Dirty Jobs, Cash Cab), some Comedy Central (Daily Show, etc.), and Seinfeld are all I watch these days.

Part of the reason why those cable channels seem so lack-luster these days is because many of them are owned by the same corporation so there is very little competition for good programming.

Although one thing I like on Discovery is American Chopper when they have those heated arguments. There were quite a few episodes where I really thought that Paulie was going to have his ass handed to him by Senior.
