    Nice paint scheme. Looks a bit like my old white Gitane with chrome.

    Also..nice boat in the background!

    EDIT re: riding weather. I feel bad I've driven to work three days in a row - it is pouring rain here! Yike.

    Here's my 1984-ish pogliaghi race bike with the retinato pattern on the frame. i built a set of rims on the original campagnolo hubs to run clinchers and have really loved this bike. I had dreams of getting a roof rack for my '84 eta and putting it on but now I'm toying with the idea of selling it because it just gathers dust at the moment

    I actually bought it off some college student and haven't really ridden it at all yet. Definitely getting rid of them. Plus, the pedals are white. No idea what he was thinking with the color mixture there on a black and red frameset.

    Thanks, this is my first build and hopefully not the last. I really had fun picking everything out and getting it all put together.

    To be honest I really haven't ridden a whole lot to tell you the difference. This is the only suspension fork I have ridden. I do like the feel of it over the older Cannondale Pepperoni and P-Bone forks, that's abput all I can compare them too.

    pretty basic stuff but has shadow plus rear mech, DMR flat pedals good tyres. Lots of fun on the trails

    How do those forks feel? I've never ridden one. Always been interest on if it feels much different than a conventional fork.
