    Holy Race-Face Ronnie.

Definitely missing my bike right now. Rode it for maybe three days before I went to work in Alaska? Back home now but it's still in California. I've been Jonesin' for a ride really bad recently. How many miles have all you guys logged this summer? Unfortunately for me, Only like 25.

Time for a build update, just waiting on the wheel set and brake set to show up in the mail.

Here's what I'm working with so far:
    Race Face Turbine products.

    Shimano Deore XT drivetrain.

    The R3V Bicycle Thread

Just started ordering parts to build my first mountain bike. I picked up the frame set months ago, a 2000 Cannondale F700. I will be fitting it with a lot of Shimano XT parts and Race Face Turbine Parts as well. I decided to go with a 2x10 setup with 26T/38T on the crank. Hopefully I'll get to post some pictures of the build as it comes together.

Just finished a frame up on this guy. She's feelin' mighty fine. Weighed in at 22.7lbs without a seatpost or pedals.

Bought this POS Dawes single speed from bikes direct. For the money I guess I'm happy with it. It will service its purpose to get around the city for a year. Tested it out today on the local river trail.

Thanks! She's not as pretty as it looks in the pictures. It's been ridden hard and put away wet so to speak. However, it still rides great. Funny enough my uncle has a TK2 as well. I remember seeing it in 2009 or so thinking it was the coolest thing. He's also got some really sweet Cannondale road bikes but I always had a soft spot for the tk2. I picked it up for a whopping $120 if I remember correctly. When I get home I am most likely going to do away with the wheel set and crank set/BB due to the gearing being really high.

Three more inches with that front wheel and she's through the railing and dead meat. That would have been a nasty crash.
