Looking good! I need new wraps for my bars and hopefully a seat that isn't so stiff.

Also in the market for Deep V wheels in 27" and tires.

I really miss the Bianchi and the Independent. Wish I hung onto them to. The Santa Cruz SS was a blast to ride but to small for me. Finding a US made LG frame is hard now a days.

Doug Curtis builds some sweet bikes. He built my Scandium Action-Tec back in 2000. Best riding mtb I have ever ridden. 19.5 lbs with full knobbies, 12 years ago.

Here is my newest bike, built 2 years ago. I chased the USS Iowa through the Marin Headlands on it this afternoon. I designed the frame from the ground up.

Dunno if any of you guys are in the Detroit area, but if anyone is down for some trail riding, send me a PM. Always more fun when it's more than one person, haha.

Just picked up my first road bike. Trek madone with mostly dur-ace components. Looked for a particular model# on the frame and even sifted through the archives on trek's website but couldn't find anything that resembled this frames scheme. Anyone have an idea what year/model it can be? Previous owner who is an acquaintance wasn't sure.

Now, gotta get fitted and spend more money on some gear, sigh...

                              Did I price these right?

My suggestion, a Cannondale caad7,8,or 9 in a 61cm (I think thats the biggest frame they make.) Carbon is not the way to go for someone your size and weight. You will have to look for a used bike, but the Cannondale will be a solid performer for a big rider.
