I finally just installed my clipless pedals on my roady and I have no idea why I didn't do it sooner. I cant just feel the increase in speed and momentum.

ahhh attack of the windsors. my best friend since age 11 just bought one and is moving down to philly in a month. He got a white one though, and i guess the new ones have threadless stems? does yours josh? My brothers is only 1.5 years old and it doesnt have one.

Yeah, they just recently upgraded the stem and the cranks on the Windsors. I have a really nice threadless stem, and they come with FSA Vero cranks now. The pedals and the toe clips suck tho, and I hate the seat. Gots to change that shit out. I think this winter, I'm going to have the frame stripped and powdercoated pearl white.

Better not fool! The height is good, but I'm trying to work on the weight. That's part of the reason I bought the bike.

Also, get some MKS pedals. the japanese bearings in them will never fail you until they do. say, for instance, when you're going 35mph on a brakeless fixed gear and one of your pedals seizes. (it was over 20 years old... replaced with brand new MKS)

Kudos on putting the p.o.s. in his place. Really it's not hard to share the road.

Especially when I wasn't even really "riding" in the road. It's not like I was doing 5 mph in front of him down a busy street, intentionally getting in his way. I'll ride in the street if there's not cars, or if I'm hauling ass and can keep up with the flow of traffic.
