hey guys, my local bike shop says it cannot get fixed 26 inch wheels for my white specialized i posted earlier.

got any ideas where i can order some new wheels in 26 inch?

also, can most local bike shops re-spoke wheels? since my bike has horizontal drop outs, i want to get that offset hub that white industries is making, so i'd have to have the wheel rebuilt.

in my reading i've seen 700c used alot, and that it's smaller than 27 inches. what size in inches is it exactly?

I just got into cycling.... looking at a 'custom' single speed by IRO for commuting 30-40 miles round trip... just have to work my way up to that mileage. I might do horn brakes instead.... and probably all black wheels as well.
