I just drove across the state with my bike on the roof. Bad idea!! Bike was absolutely covered in bugs.

That's why you see those people with those covers over the front of their bikes when they have them up there for long distances. :D

check out what I picked up from a local shop. it even has a non working old school pump.

it was a multispeed, but converted to a singlespeed...sort of. There's 2 cogs on the front but it's such a hassle to change them I'm not even going to bother.

Not bad, but with that seat position, I'd assume you bought something too large for you. No not too badly, I paid that for my pedals and crankset.

Yeah, the smaller bike was 200 bucks tho =/. I don't got that kind of dough. The seat could be raised an inch or so tho, it was just really high up at first. I literally got it about an hour or so ago.

But on the bright side, this bike replaced the cost of my parking permit and gas for the next 2 weeks.
