no matter how hard I try I can't get down with chrome pistas. and I have a pista! about 2 years ago, anyone around buffalo who had a fixed gear had a chrome pista; they're thinning out now, so I guess my bias will soon cease. just this initial recognition of them is still hard to get out of my head

I'm not a fan of chrome Pistas either, but I like that bike as a whole. My friend Ben just got a chrome Langster, now that thing is badass.

I heart Leader and Fuji Track Pro frames. And that Soma bike is my favorite of all those.

I don't think the belt thing will catch on.

But they go for 60,000 miles without need for replacment. ;)

That Chrome Pista is a girl that lives not too far from me... She was trying to sell it on GL for like $1500... lol That spoke card is from the shop in St. Pete called 66Fixed. Check out their website!

                            got a new bike tonight

it's pretty much the sickness, i love old school conversions. also came with mks cages and nylon straps and a red chain. throwin on the soma bullhorns with white-ish bar tape tomorrow, and front brake. it's for my brother, it's his first fixie, so i'd want him rocking a brake.

its all preference, but if you tilt bullhorns up a bit you can get a lot more torque on acceleration
