I've ridden one of those $260 eBay bikes, it was surprisingly nice.

Most of those frames are all made by the same place. The ebay ones just don't have any brand labels.

Everyone around here thinks their new $700 Masi is this super-elite Italian bike, when it's really made by Haro.
