They're actually ultegra. Trying out my road bike single speed, I actually really like it. Just haven't got rid of the shifters for regular drop levers. It's an 08 I think cannondale caad 9. I bought it as a frameset and built it. Easton wheels, carbon cranks, yada yada yada.

TCR Advanced (full Ultegra groupo) w. upgraded P-SLR1 wheels, Look Keo Blade carbon/ti pedals, & Blackburn carbon cadges

Fly Tierra v2.0 frame - rocking a freecoaster

NS Analog w. swapped pedals and grips (same as the bmx)

I also have a Scott Voltage FR frame that'll hopefully be built-up one of these days.

              yay bikes.

I've been riding the same pair of KHE 1.9 Parks (the thin ones) for five years. They typically broke when people were grinding b.c of the thin sidewall. Otherwise these are awesome tires.

How do you like the freecoaster? Lots of people switching over. I don't know if I could give up the consistent engagement of a cassette.

I could never grasp the differences between the TCR and the Defy series. Aside from a "bit" of geometry and the groupsets made available, the defy only goes up to the 105 while the TCR's get DuraAce goodness, The TCR is supposed to be the race series while the Defy is for the street?

noob question: aside from being incredibly talented and skilled, how is the following possible on a road bike? i didn't think they'd hold up to that kind of abuse.

are the wheels just really strong? or is it the bike frame? (or both?)

                        I think it's the spokes.

Martyn Ashton actually broke his back at a demo during the filming of that video. Last I heard, he was paralyzed from the waste down or at least very minimal feeling. That's why the other two finished the video.
