What else have I had recently..... O Stone Smoked Old Guardian is bangin! Six point 3 beans as well.

Bear Republic Racer 5 was ok, but Racer x was much better. I'm looking to get Founders All day IPA in my store.... distributors are hard to work with.

O and we got Ballast Point sea monster in. Gonna try soon.

And i will be getting some Maine Brew co. asap and a little treat that is bourbon barrel aged old raspy :)

Picked up some Hop Strike Black IPA and 400lb Monkey English IPA, both unique and tasty. Surprisingly the 400lb monkey is the best!!!

I decided this is my top favorite as of now. Finally found some in a little beer store on a side street in downtown Staunton.

Anyone into vintage beers? I've been amassing these over the past few weeks. I'm aging a few in my not-so-ideal closet location. Oh how I wish I had a cellar.

idk why my phone wouldnt capture a clear shot right here but there are (3) 2003 Aventinus, (3) 2005 Aventinus, (7) 2002 JW Lees barleywines, and (2) 2007 JW Lees barleywines. Cheers!

If its anywhere as good as GI Rare BCS or King Henry (both also aged in PVW), put on shoes when you drink it.... because it will knock your socks off

In other barrel aged beer news, Six Point 3Beans was AMAZING!!

As much as I like big, dark beers and Bourbon..............I haven't tasted a bourbon barrel aged beer that tastes good to me.

They all end up really syrupy.

Heavy seas has produced their barleywine in both bourbon barrels and cab barrels. This is the first of their others in bourbon barrels. Only a single case has made it to athens. In case it's illegible to anyone, the description on the front says "Imperial stout brewed with chocolate and aged in bourbon barrels".

It has been brought to my attention by some friends that Pliny is now on tap at 2 bars in Portland. Giggity! I know what I'm doing this weekend :)

mmm. Recently I've had anderson valley wild turked bbal stout, casked black cannon, bells bbal cherry stout 2011, bells bbal java stout, all on draft. Trying to drink good beer while having a cold sucks so i havent been drinking for the past week and a half. I've been wanting to drink more sours lately but they're all around 10 bucks or so for 500ml. Not sure which one to buy.

    edit: tonights cheddar
