I like a good ipa with a bit of citrus flavor. It's a good oj replacement.

I just got two cases of Bell's Hopslam. Have 3-4 of the 6 packs that will disappear as gifts but I'll be happy with a case, usually hard to get my hands on more than a 6 pack around here.

That's all I drink. I can do a good wheat (La Cumbre Slice of Hefen is a fucking glorious hefenweizen) but stouts and porters are all meh to me.

    Bringing this back up.

Picked up some Barrel Aged Old Rasputin.. Imperial Stout aged in wheat whiskey barrels. pretty rare by me.

I work for the beer distributor, we only got a handful of cases of the wheat whiskey, and dozens of the rye whiskey.

Yess I do, and I spend every summer in VT, close to ST Jay.

Actually I haven't visited a single one..A real shame I know. I might visit a couple in the spring when I can take the vert, make a nice little road trip

And I remember the farmhouse, really good food but I forgot how ridiculously expensive the Belgian beer is geeeshh! 15 bucks for a beer that is 6 euros for a large bottle.

Beer is fine... but this Ransom Old Tom Gin is a real treat!

Drinking my way through the Idea Bartender's Guide, published before 1920. We have a liquor thread!?
