Point made though, and I agree, less time watching TV is a very very good thing for this society. Maybe teens won't grow up thinking it's OK to be like the fucking idiot on TV (I don't even know what shows/people are "cool" right now).

Of course you can, apparently you didn't get the memo. MediaPortal ftw. I'd say about half of my movies are in 720p that I download. There's a ton of 1080p content out for download as well.

OK, let me rephrase my opinion. TV's are cool, the horseshit the cable company sends across the coax sucks balls. And for your DVR, whether your 1 hour show takes 45 minutes or 1 hour to watch, it still sucks balls. I didn't mean it to sound like I watch TV shows online. I don't, I hate 99% of what is available from the cable company. The speed channel was cool every now and then, that's about it.
