If you can find the local filming commision you can sign up to be an extra on the sets while they shoot. It doesn't pay anything but there is the chance you can get in the movie from a simple procedure too... Just a little somthing to think about...

I watched a scene of LAW AND ORDER be shot when i was in NYC and i have ran into a few celebs on the street there over the years. I coulda ran onto the shot of law and order and then down the street without being apprehended.

I bet you could get fairly close to the set. I was in Wilmington, NC years ago and was able to put my hands on the directors chair if I wanted to, while watching them film Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek for a Dawsons Creek episode. I was in town for some R & R and was in downtown that night while they were filming. I was literally 20 feet from when they were filming. I could not take pictures as they had signs posted, no pictures taken allowed during production. I assume because of flashes going off since it was at nite.

lol, small town excitement. We're no Hollywood but at any given moment there are 3 big movies being shot here simultaneously with A-list actors hanging around.

Fascinating. My city isn't that small. The one she's in is. But we still don't get too many movies being filmed in this area.

I think the last big movie that was filmed in this area was the scene from Swordfish where the helicopter lands down near the river where the senator or whatever he was was fishing. That was at Smith Rcok State Park.
