If Hilary wins, I'm moving to Canada. And, having heard some of what Obama would like to do with the economy, I'm not a huge fan of him, either. The only person I really see as being remotely effective as a leader is McCain- just hope he picks a worthy suc-I mean- Vice President. He's the only one I've seen that wouldn't be a tool of the political extremes, be that left or right sides. Oh, and fuck Hilary. figuratively, I like my dick and don't want it falling off.

I'm just saying....
And what's up with this Zar4 shit? You sound like you are lacking a clue.
This all makes sense though... because you list yourself as a student and "too lazy for a job" in your public profile - no wonder you love Obama.PNW Crew

It makes me loose my shit to hear college students wearing $300.00 jeans and driving their new 5 series/range rovers/escalades/etc talk about how "cool" it would be for Obama to win and how "we need change and social reform". These people don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and just spout whatever they hear on PMSMNBC because they feel like they are helping the greater good and being all "down with the man".
I sent this one hardcore liberal chick I know an article regarding why socialized healthcare is not an effective way to administer healthcare - both in the quality of care and the economic ramifications. She responded, "Oh, you know I don't read stuff"..... then how the HELL do you know anything about wtf is going on then?

He's not Muslim? Thought he was. In that case, Id definitely choose him over Clinton. For the poster who said "white baptist", thatd also be incorrect. It's typically a christian run nation, its just the way it is. But I personally dont care what color or religion they are, as long as its not Muslim.... Or female sex. It could be a white muslim, and Id be opposed. Its probably me being naive or ignorant to all of this, but a Muslim leading our country just seems odd.Originally posted by blunti would jerk larry king off while tonging jflips ass if h0lmes would blow his head offComment

And since I'm here...
Voting for Obama/Hillary is a way for people to accomplish one of two things:
1) Feel less guilty because you have something, and someone else doesn't. Many people I talk to have this mentality. They have ample funds, but then they feel guilty knowing that they do and others don't (but that doesn't stop them from buying Louis V and sipping Patron Silver). By voting for them, you are both directly and indirectly redistributing wealth and resources so that when you're driving your Escalade and sipping Mai Tai's on your next trip to Cancun, you don't feel so bad knowing that the wittle children have healthcare and you lost another .5% in annual income.
2) You don't have anything and want it for free - or at a severely reduced rate - and feel "entitled" to it simply by being a warm blooded breathing human being. I'm not talking about Wel-fare success stories, or state healthplans being problems... i'm talking about the people who are going to blatantly freeload which is the vast majority. Anyone ever heard of the concept of social loafing? Think of it this way - most people if they had enough money would simply stop working and doing certain things, right? Well, if you subsidize enough things, there is a large portion of this country who will accept slightly reduced living conditions for the freedom to "not do shit" - voting for Billary or Obama will help accomplish this task.
Finally - we need to grant amnesty to Immigrants from south of the border, pay them reasonable (minimum) wages, and tax their income. The majority of Mexican imigrants work very hard and have earned their place in society. Interestingly, I think that the Mexican people, who are predominatly catholic, may represent a future major constituency for the conservative party. Wouldn't that shit be ironic?PNW Crew

Reasoning:
1)He has experience that the other candidates lack.
2)He is clearly open to working across party lines in a bi-partisan fashion.
3)He has dedicated his ENTIRE LIFE to serving this country.
4)He has foreign policy experience - which is something that BOTH of the demo candidates are weak on.
5)He has a unique experience with the military - he has endured shit that 99% of humanity cannot imagine. He understands the seriousness and nastiness of military conflict, and I think that he would be pretty reserved in sending our forces around the globe solving other peoples problems. However, I think if we had another 9/11 - he would be completely willing to beat the aggressor like a red-headed step child. Clearly this guy isn't some war-lord... look at his stance on water boarding.
6)HE IS THE ONLY MODERATE IN THE RACE
7)I think he gets the border situation and has a realistic solution to the problem (i.e. granting amnesty and locking the border down).
Our country does not need the most polarized candidate on either side to win this or any election. Nothing gets accomplished through that. We need people who are willing to be socialy moderate - fiscally conservative - and get the outrageous government spending under control.
My personal conservatism lies in the fiscal department primarily - just so everyone is clear. I'm not unsympathetic to people who are struggling - I just know many people (my parents included) who rose above something and created a better life for themselves. People need to have that attitude - not "how can the government help me?" Get off your ass, get a job. Work at McDicks - it's an honest living and you can't fault a man for that. I feel that if I pesonally didn't do better than my parents did (which is fine), that I took for granted the opportunities given to me and wasted potential (and wasted potential is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves).
We need to tighten the reigns on the spending of the government on shit that does not need to happen. My solution to the fiscal problems would be:
1) Become isolationist
2) Bring jobs back to the US through some sort of legislation
3) Strengthen our national security INTERNALLY - not taking the fight other places.
4) LOOSEN THE REIGNS on small business so that corporations are not the only ones making a lot of money.
5) Improve education - an educated society is safer, has a lower mortality rate, is more economically prosperous, and ultimately will be generally more stable. This also reduces the need for government spending on various programs.
I've got more to say.... but I've got to get back to work....PNW Crew
