I couldn't help it. It kills me seeing your ARB without the natural hole in the middle that costs waaaaaaaaaaay too much to fill. At least at new prices. I bought a crusty M12k out of the midwest & rebuilt it.

But I admit mine's still on the floor in my new garage. Once I finish moving it's in the hole.

How's the OME breaking in - do you think it's too stiff in your truck without a 1/3 ton of armor?
I specifically got the non winch because I knew I'd have to get the best most expensive one and no way to hide that from the Wife.

I researched the springs and it paid off. The rears are Slees and are 10% stiffer than the OMEs. The truck runs almost as stiff without the sways as it did with them on the stock springs.

There is a bit of jounce but not too bad considering. I hope the OME shocks will correct the bit thats there.

here in germany those plate covers were all over the news a year or 2 ago. they do nothing, if they want your plate nr. on the pic, all they have to do is sharpen the image, and it comes through.
good luck with it though. and I doubt your bending the rules will hold up very well to a cop that pulls you over.

Look at the pictures I took. I tried zooming & it gets worse. The law here states you can't cover the plate with anything that makes it illegible from behind.

Most of the cars here have them. I am not bending any rules nor am I speeding in a 6k lb truck with 210hp. My primary reason for this is for a speedtrap that has cameras where the limit changes from 70-55. If I am decelerating and the picture is taken when I am still say at 60, I don't want a ticket.

zooming in on your computer is one thing, the police have some crap where they develope the pics( saw it on the german show that SABINE the ring taxi chick has) that can change it.

I dont care if your speeding or not, I just imagine when a police officer sees that from a 45 degree angle, I imagine they arent going to like it.

back when I was younger, I had a 1982 Malibu with a whole lot of hp.-- if I knew I was going to be racing/speeding, I used to jam the gas cap in the gas tank door( to keep it flipped down) so noone could see my plate nr. it worked great.
