Great, now I have to find the damn thing. It was stuck to my monitor and when I got my laptop I took it off, and I don't know what I did with it.

It's bright orange and has that little squashed cartoon cabby on it.

I wore a huge hole in mine and a flat spot from braking hard... never rode smooth after that ;) I didn't have one of the cool green machines with the ebrake.. had to use your feet to lock the front wheel!

Ok so I am another product of the 70's, danger was my middle name... well not really but compared to the toys of today and "concerned parents" getting their say, I should probably be dead or severly injured! :D

I also have no clue what a POG is? Is this like an early version of Pokemon?

They're these little cardboard and plastic discs that you stacked up and tried to smack and scatter around with one big thick one. It's a glorified version of tiddly winks.

I never played with them, I was like 14 when they got huge. I was born in 1980, I had cool toys. Like the Pogo Ball. That's right:

          And Capsela sets:

            I had a pogo-ball!

Some of those giant metal tonka trucks, too. The impossible LEGO sets, check. I have a bunch of POGs around here somewhere. A lot of this shit I forgot all about :) Brings back some memories.

I hated those pogo balls. Some of the toys that i had was a Rambo big wheel (my grandma still has it in her garage attic), LEGO, Lincoin Logs, Micro Machines, Hotwheels, G.I.Joes.

oh man! micro machines!!!!! i loved those!

legos and micro machines my mom hated and i don't blame her... have you even stepped on a micro machine or lego? those things hurt like hell!

i tore up our side hard like crazy with my tonka trucks and bulldozer. a few of mine were rusty from leaving them outside.

Can you really imagine growing up NOT playing "lawndart dodgeball", or riding your Green Machine or Big Wheel without any padding or wussification of any sort.

Pop Rocks really could hurt you if you tried, and Coke was made with cane sugar.

Concrete & steel structures rising sometimes nearly 3 stories, all paved below --- oh, yeah - that was the jungle gym / monkeybars, and really only played on until the age you realized girls had boobs and weren't quite so lame.

Nowdays that playground is only 15' tall max, all rounded corners & shredded rubber underneath.

Whatever. Given the chance to choose I'd still grow up when I did. I think I was 6 when Star Wars hit theaters - what more could you ask? I remember Dad gave me a whole store size box of Red Vines & got me a bucket of Coke at that movie....weird how you remember shit 30 years ago in detail.

All that laser gun / scifi stuff was the big rage & all the plots were new when I was young, and we still all had our fair share of scars. Perfect balance.
RIGHT ON DUDE when i was a kid and we were out of school for the summer my parents would give me a machete, 5 gallons of gas and a road flare and kick me out of the house at daylight and i didnt come back till dark. some of the stuff we did would scare the shit out of me today but we made it thru just fine. i remember climbing railroad bridges 100 feet above the ground down by the river. i think we truly were invincible or maybe just stupid

I just had to break out the Atari 7800 and play Journey Escape, after seeing this on there :o.

Holy crap, I can't believe how many toys I had when I was a kid. These Robocop ones were awesome though, I mean a cap gun in an action figure? Looking back, I guess I was a somewhat semi-spoiled kid, but then again I always worked and did chores around the house so I could earn my money for toys. The only time I got freebies was my birthday and Christmas. I still remember when rollerblades first came out and they were the hot shit.

I have a PK Ripper in storage to this day. Aluminum unpainted, with Auburn forks and araya rims lol.

Also, me and my girlfriend bought a trampoline this last year lol. So we got a big ol trampoline in the backyard. Its great.

And bet your ass as a little kid I had a firebird pedal car. And when that broke, I got this huge yellow car, where it didnt have a steering wheel, but handles on the left and right, you had to turn and pull to turn.
