Sorry to crap on anyone's parade but CONCACAF soccer leaves a lot to be desired...it's a 2 horse race w/ the U.S. and Mexico and neither team is world class. I've been a follower for years but this style/type of futbol fails in comparison to S. American and European qualifying, although the U.S. and Mexico have improved.

Ive been saying this to my Mexican American friends forever. They insist on taking my comments as the regular "Argentines are better than everyone" thinking. Which I dont believe. Shit we havent won a major tournament since '93, but our players are sought after throughout the world, we have won mulitple World Cups and every major tournament that there is to win (WOrld Cup twice, Copa America 14 times), we are ALWAYS ranked in the top ten, and the CONCACAF is made of many countries that are more known for their baseball, track and field, economic and political strife than any soccer accomplishments. A lot of these countries rank well into the 50's and 100's in the FIFA ranking. I think the U.S. and Mexico have improved UNBELIEVABLY in the last 20 years, but theyre constantly playing against and being compared to minnows. I think they would be lots better or at least their true colors shown if they played consistently with better teams.

I know it was Argentinian B squad, but still... We're not exactly a power when it comes to football... We have decent players playing in good teams throughout EU, but we're hardly a team - more like a bunch of people gathered to play a bit.
