I know.... I was guessing you were from A.C. Milan since you said you hate the team they play for.

A lucky draw for Milan today. We did not deserve it, but I'll take it. A win and a draw in the last 2 games and were in to the knock out stage.
We have one of the worst coaches I've seen. Worse tactics and worst line up selections.
I really feel its Chelsea's CL to lose this year.Comment

Here are some pics from my recent trip over to the Meadowlands when the US played Argentina.
Arrived at the field early for a mixer with a decent view

Camera guy in the way

Argentina takes the field

Tried getting a shot of Messi, no luck

Back to the suite

A 1-1 tie for the US is a win in my book. Especially since Messi played almost the entire game.
Next game for the US....Spain!Comment

Actually, I think they are closer than many think. The Americans have always had the best athletes in the world, its just a matter of turning them into soccer players. If you look at the number of Americans playing on the national team that also play in European leagues there has clearly been an increase in recent years.
Don't be surprised when the next world cup rolls around and the Americans have success. Not saying that we'll reach the semis or anything, but it's my belief that we will make it out of the group stage every WC going forward with a shot at making the final 8.Comment

0-1 against Paraguay
1-1 against Argentina (Argentina is overrated and not that great of a team right now)
1-1 against weak Chile
1-0 against South Africa
0-0 against Colombia
2-2 against Poland
WC 2010 they tied England 1-1, tied Slovania 2-2, and beat Algeria 1-0, before going out against Ghana.
hardly the results of a team close to stringing wins against top tier teams.. that's all I'm saying. Oh, and they have Spain coming up in June, a top-tier team, let's stay tuned and see what happens.
